SUPPORT

Why support Spark?

At Spark, we believe in creating environments for young people to find the spark to speak out against inequality, through drama. We believe in the importance of listening to young people’s voices and encouraging them as social and political activists and strive to facilitate personal empowerment for all the young people we work with; but we can’t do it alone.

These projects are run at an incredibly low-cost to schools, however, there is very little, if any money provided to state schools to provide non-curriculum-based work. As such, work supporting specific issues around gender inequality in society today are sorely under-funded. Your support will help a school/schools achieve an educational opportunity they need and deserve.

If you are interested in supporting Spark and our work, please contact us at gina@sparkideas.co.uk

Our current 10-week project in schools is supported using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.

Many thanks to our other generous supporters Charcoalblue and The Tottenham Grammar School Foundation, whose funding has also helped our 10-week project in schools exploring gender equality through drama a reality.
